Looking forward to your visit Simon. I couldn't figure out any other forum where this post would be relevant.

I did an awareness program for less than 2 hours. It started with worksheets of double dummy problems, the mechanics of the game and ended with a couple of deals of mini- bridge. Was quite well received, and 50% of the participants signed up for a 5 day (2 hours/day) program.

Here's a short 2 min video presentation I use if necessary.

After a game force 2, it may be wrong to assume a reverse as partner may have planned a 2 rebid on 1 or 1N

Is there a link to the details about the WYBT at China? Couldn't find any on the WBF site

If double is penalty in the first case, and you pass when you do not have a stopper or a penalty, what does partner do with Qx Akx Qxx JTxxx on your pass? Is partner's double now penalty?

2N, assuming good-bad is an option. 3 would be a bigger hand

I think W is almost marked with a picture… kq and no ak. A forcing pass on 5. So I play w for k at least.

Thanks to all who voted. It was a hypothetical holding. The actual holding was JTxx T 86 AKQTxx. I think I got the vulnerability wrong too. On the actual deal, both were NV and opps reached 6.

Mindfulness and meditation practice helps a lot in building endurance as far as my personal experience goes.

I trained a couple of pairs for the u-21 selections. I put them through a reasonably tough routine for a month. And then I let them be for about 4 weeks before the phase 1 of the trials. They did reasonably well. Doesn't prove anything, but I wanted them to be rested, and have the time to assimilate whatever they had learnt over a month.

So that just leaves a plan for further disruption by the LHO.

As far as disruption goes, yes 4 maybe far more effective than 3

The system summary says game force relay. 2 by the responder is 5's, constructive to invitational, and 3 is 6's wide ranging. So I would presume the responder can't hold 6's. Anything else seems possible.
