about me

Bridge player/teacher/writer and Bridge Winners admin. When not playing bridge I'm writing plays. Or more accurately procrastinating, telling myself I should be working on a play. I live on Cape Cod and am on the boards of EMBA (Unit 108), District 25, and New England Youth Bridge (

BW 2/1: Opener's Reverse
John, our intention is to gather the individual results of these polls and then use them to create a cohesive, consistent system. Which might mean going against a couple of the individual poll results. We know many of these issues are inter-related, and we're not going to blindly follow ...
BW 2/1: Opener's 2M Rebid
We're very aware of this. Our plan is to use the results of the polls to create a system that we feel is playable. That well might mean we go against a few of the individual poll results in order to have a cohesive system. But it can't ...
BW 2/1: Opener's 2M Rebid
Just a reminder that we our goal is a simple, natural system that intermediates can play. We'll get to expert agreements eventually. Feel free to discuss more complicated agreements, but when answering the polls please keep this goal in mind.
