Would you ever refuse to play a particular opponent?
It would be illegal in my country, Ed. But in exchange we can open multi 2
Insufficient Bid
You would lose new players in droves.
Would you ever refuse to play a particular opponent?
I think I would refuse to play if my opponents (or partner) came to the table : drunk swearing smoking talking on a phone armed wounded naked with a pet dog (not a service dog) with a pet snake But it would depend on the circumstances.
Insufficient Bid
Let me get this straight, please. The Director takes the IBer away from the table, asks them what the IB means, and says to the table "I will allow certain bids to be comparable. Laws 16, 23 and 26 may or may not apply." ???
Six-Table Howell Question
In my non-ACBL version, pair 10 is N-S for rounds 1,2,3,6,7 and pair 11 is N-S for rounds 1,2,5,6.
What do you call such a bid?
Hybrid works.
Dark Ages Bidding for Beginners?
Mini Bridge booklet :
Active Un-ethics ??
Part of the reason for the 10 seconds pause is to allow partner (and LHO) time to anticipate how the auction might evolve. Players should be educated that it's not just about their hand and their own immediate call.
I've never seen this before
1 = None 5 = NS 9 = EW 13 = Both Everything else comes from this pattern.
