How should Multi be allowed (if at all) under the Open+ chart?
We played a storng club system with 1 being 14+ for a few years. I dont think it was really any different for defenders than any other strong club except perhaps that 14+ makes it a little harder for us to know if we gave game in competition.
Fit Showing Jumps or Weak Jump Shifts in Competition
WJS is a bad idea because at least some of the to e it preempts partner who has the strongest hand at the table. the rest are ok.
2!c With an Unbalanced Hand
Agree Gonzalo. It should be illegal to use 2 to try to stop them bidding their cold game that makes on power.
2!c With an Unbalanced Hand
Teach them never to respond 2NT. 2 waiting or weak Any other new suit = 8+ with a good suit (good = 2 of the AK and Q) As to how strong to open. 2 is not a preempt. Most strong hands with a minor can be opened 1 of ...
How should Multi be allowed (if at all) under the Open+ chart?
Hi David. People in new zealand can play forcing pass in open events of more than 10 board sets. You cant muddle though if you make a lot of complicated agreements. The other way to go is to make some simple agreements and agree on general principals. Then you can ...

How do you bid those two hands?
I dont like the X of 2 either partner might likley jump to 4. Not sure i like 3NT much but it gets the trick taking power accross.
How should Multi be allowed (if at all) under the Open+ chart?
I agree Barry however when you put it that way it makes it a change management issue not a multi issue. It seems to me that iff the ACBL would enter into a change management conversation rather than a rights /wrongs of multi being allowed conversation that would be a ...
