You are very welcome Martin, and we appreciate the sentiment. Our thought behind that statement is that we'd like to get the site to at least a point where there is a revenue stream sufficient enough so that the site's survival does not depend on donations. If that ...

That is an interesting idea which I appreciate you sharing, and we will discuss it. Realistically though, I wouldn't expect it anytime soon, since our resources are fairly limited, and we have other projects on our plate.

@Tanya, looks like you got it figured out. Thank you (and everyone else who has contributed). @Jeff, thank you for bringing this to our attention. This should be fixed now.

Michael, I certainly understand where you are coming from. 10 years ago, I would have never imagined how expensive it is to maintain and improve a website. One of the expensive tasks over the past year included upgrading Django (the web application framework we use), as the old version was ...
Minor Suit Bidding

Mikael Rimstedt's bidding problem: J3 AQ3 QJ8543 Q8
Marshall, I disagree. Partner probably knows you have values, since if West had a good hand he would have done more than bid 2 initially. It's not unreasonable for Partner to have a stiff heart too for this auction: perhaps a 5134.
Jason Feldman's lead problem: JT4 T84 98 QJ852
Don't lead a spade. Typically, you have something else you really want led.
Ulf Nilsson's bidding problem: --- AT954 K KQJ8653
Even if it is a misfit, I have a great source of tricks for 3NT. Partner rates to have at least one club. Obviously, if partner has a club void we could have problems, but we've been down before.
Bob Heitzman's bidding problem: AJ62 A6 AQJT4 Q3
Partner also knows we are vulnerable at IMPs. I expect him to raise with hands that have two working cards (side kings count from partners evaluation perspective). A 5th spade and an ace is close to enough. With 3s I don’t expect to miss any games that are better ...
I think this is what Marion is asking about.
I have no problem doubling with a stiff. If partner wants to convert with 4 good trumps, that is fine with me. With a void, I would do something else.
