A Great Read
I bet I could move to Antarctica and still be the underdog in an Antarctic trials.
Epic Finish in Seamon USA2 Final
As the VuGraph operator for this segment, let me just say this was one of the wildest matches I have ever seen. Truly great to get a birds-eye view of the insanity. Congrats to both teams for a great match and the Dhir team, many of whom I have known ...
One from the Seamon Junior USBC
As the person on the losing end of that 104 IMP blowout yesterday, you're not wrong.
Michael Seamon Junior USBC Begins Today
As a participant in this event, thanks to the donors and the USBF training program, led by the Rosenbergs and dozens of other great mentors, for putting this on yet again. Always fun to participate, regardless of result.
Yeah, and why do you think the ACBL created STAC and Instant Matchpoint games? So people who only go to club games can get pigmented points. Not everyone goes to tournaments like the dedicated players do. You can do plenty just at the club level. Making it all silver is ...

I did the VuGraph for that match. Turns out the CoC allow 2.5 hours for 15 boards, which is absolutely ridiculous, but that means they barely broke the time limit. Still, I have to agree with you. It was bad.
Are Rules Meant to be Broken?
@Kevin, apologies for my soapbox then. I assumed it was 2 hours or slightly over for the 15 board segments.
Are Rules Meant to be Broken?
I am 100% behind you on the slow play complaint, although my issue with it comes from an event I wasn't even playing in. I was VuGraphing the Baze semifinals yesterday and the night session was really bad with regards to pace and more importantly, enforcing a healthy pace ...
Jay Whipple District 9 Elected President 2018
The Common Game was a pure genius idea by Jay. Getting to play against the country every single session is a lot more exciting than just your normal, everyday club game. It's only going to get bigger, solidifying its hold on the future of the ACBL going forward.
