Nobody is required to play whatever they scribbled on their convention card. You can bid whatever you like. The convention card doesn't even have to show the "partnership agreement" if there is one. Since we are talking about useful rule changes. It makes a mess for the director too ...

I was looking for an order of magnitude. Is it a hundred, a thousand, a hundred thousand. There are 17,000 people that made over $20K on OPR. Next year, will we see they same people making another $20K? Do the people that made a milion dollars this year lose ...

I do want to add that words change meaning all the time and there's nothing particularly unusual about that. It seems gender means something it didn't use to mean but that's the way things are.
