Blake Schwartzbach's bidding problem: J9874 K982 K5 84
Pass best communicates the general strength of the hand but I think 3nt is better, since it shows dia stopper which one may not be able to show later.
Shailesh Gupta's bidding problem: AKxx JT9xx Jxxx ---
Interesting that higher %age of players want to bid 4h when East is an unpassed hand.
Shailesh Gupta's bidding problem: Kxxx x 9xxx AJxx
does the dbl deny good D support?
Shailesh Gupta's bidding problem: KQTxx Jxx JT9xx ---
may be 5c is better, less confusing

4h is slam try....aka "last train". believe that's the best way to reach this cold slam where pd had ajxx aqxxxx a xx
Shailesh Gupta's bidding problem: AJxx AQxxxx A xx
2s is forcing to 2nt in standard methods, hence 3s should be non-forcing
ATB for a doubled 3S
great poll. no right or wrong answer but can help short list players with one's style. e.g. I should not play with anyone who thinks ATB is with East.
Shailesh Gupta's bidding problem: AKxxx ATxx xx Kx
that's the only relevant agreement. some people play neg free bids but that is so uncommon that it is not even on bridge winners convention card
Shailesh Gupta's bidding problem: AKxxx ATxx xx Kx
this is the real question. is it standard to assume that neg dbl promises 4h? I think so, but apparently many think otherwise. (direct 3c is forcing, rebid of 3c after neg dbl is nf in any std method I presume)
Shailesh Gupta's bidding problem: Jx KQxx x QJxxxx
I think its a pdship agreement issue. I like to play neg dbl here promising 4. It seems many dont. wonder what Bridge world standard has. If x, does not promise 4, then 2h should show 4. Then, 3h would be reasonable I guess.
